For those that do not know, check out the New York Times and the last Conde Nest Travellers magazine, Peruvian food has now made it to the best Internatiaonl food list!! Try Ceviche, Papa a la Guancaina, empanadas, conchitas a la palmesana......just ask for it they will know what it is!! This is from a proud Peruvian!!

Its a different animal from Mami Nora's. Nora's is more like a BBQ joint (similar sides to BBQ too). This is clearly sit-down with dressed servers, real plates, silverware, etc. The best I can think of is that what Sitti is to Neomonde, Machu Picchu is to Mami Nora's.

Live nearby so I will go. Hope it makes it as that area can be a deathnail for restaurants. I said that when they built the shopping area/strip center. Got to support the areas ethnic reataurants as there are several behind the Red Lobster that are good but not sure anyone knows about them. ( I still eat at Los Cuotes about once a week)

The menu currently has limited availability because they just opened yesterday and are adding dishes daily. I had a glass of chicha morado (purple corn drink), tamalito verdes (cilantro and cheese tamale topped with spicy pickled red onions) and this awesome hot pepper sauce on the side (very, very hot but used it all, braised beef tips with stewed canary beans and rice, and rice pudding. I truly liked everything I had. Definitely a nice change of pace. It is sort of like Asian Grill, offering authentic recipes at a price point that's still below big chain sit-down restaurants. I will most definitely be back.
