WTVD Bringing (Much) Longer Newscast
Across the nation local TV affiliates are finding ways to fill the 4pm hour recently vacated by the retirement of the Oprah Winfrey Show. WTVD has found their solution: more news. Yes, that’s right, WTVD will hit the air with their 6 o’clock news at 4pm. The newscast will run for 2 1/2 hours.
