Mumford & Sons Coming to The Walt

The Dave Matthews Band isn’t touring this summer, but don’t fear, Mumford will be here. On Wednesday, June 8, Mumford & Sons will play the downtown Raleigh amphitheater. Tickets go on sale to the public tomorrow (Friday, 4/8) at 10am. However this morning there is a LiveNation iPhone app-based presale beginning at 10am. This one will sell out, so don’t dawdle.

I got in 5 minutes into the presale, and I was in section 7. Unless there was a special section of seats available for the presale, it doesn’t bode well for availability

I imagine that a slice is reserved for the presale instead of true first-come-first-serve. My sister said that a few minutes into the Taylor Swift presale she was looking at only 200 level tickets.

Well, crap. Will definitely pick up tickets tomorrow but doesn’t sound good for anything decent.

Anyone able to actually buy tickets? I’m on Ticketmaster. Started at 10:00am on the dot, waited in a 10min queue, then told “no matches available.” I’ve tried 3 more times. How can they already be sold out?

Well they are sold out so I guess people who don’t own smartphones get screwed!

Has to be the work of live nation/ticket brokers/scalpers etc. No way in hell that 100% of those 5500 tickets were sold to North Carolina fans of Mumford & Sons.
