Shred-a-Thon Coming Saturday
On Saturday (October 23) there will be a shredding event for the general public . The event takes place at Coastal Federal Credit Union, 1000 St. Albans Drive, Raleigh (just behind the North Raleigh Hilton).
Bring pre-approved credit card offers, old bills, out-of-date account statements, and other documents that include personal information to shred. It is not necessary to remove staples.
This is a free event sponsored by the Better Business Bureau and the National Foundation of Credit Counseling. It is also listed on the North Carolina Department of Justice’s website .
