Rahman Reschedules Raleigh Date
It looks like we’ll be getting an A.R. Rahman Jai Ho tour date after all! Officials with the “A.R. Rahman Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour” announced that the newly rescheduled date for Raleigh’s RBC Center will be Wednesday, September 29, at 7:30pm.
A.R. Rahman was forced to cancel his June 19 show in Detroit due to a structure collapse which damaged the set. The incident occurred during stage construction. No one was seriously injured. All remaining dates for the North American leg have been rescheduled due to the incident. Mr. Rahman regrets any inconvenience this causes his fans and is deeply grateful no one from his team or the local Detroit stage crew was seriously injured.
Tickets for the previous dates will be honored for the Sept. 29 show. Ticket holders that are unable to attend the rescheduled concert can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster outlets.
