cuegrass Today is the 2nd annual Cuegrass Festival . Sponsored by The Pit restaurant, the afternoon festival will feature music, barbecue, and local beer. The day kicks off at 11 a.m. with live bluegrass music by the incredible Southern Culture on the Skids, Old Habits, Jackass Flats and Sons of Ralph Duo. After I read about the shows coming downtown to the new amphitheater, all I can say is THANK GOD we have festivals like Cuegrass. I went and had a fantastic time listening to really GREAT music. S.C.O.T.S. are probably one of the most fun bands I have seen. It as all laid back, no admission charge, great beer and BBQ available.

I have no problem with the more senior line-up for the amphitheater, I am just thrilled that Raleigh is at a point where we have choices.

Yeah, SCOTS is a FANTASTIC band. Rick Miller is a phenomenal guitar player that everyone should get out and see. Sorry I missed meeting you.

I went as well. I mainly went to drink beer on the streets since we don’t get to enjoy that often enough here.

I wish we had a beer garden here year round somewhere downtown.
