Speaking of the Blue Ridge Parkway and updated websites, VerySurry.com just received a face lift as well. The new tourism site for Surry County, NC offers an interactive map, sample itineraries, an upcoming events calendar, and various contests. It also lists every restaurant, hotel, shop and attraction in Surry. The County, which is comprised of the four townships Mount Airy, Pilot Mountain, Elkin and Dobson, is only a 2 hour drive from Raleigh.
