Expanded Raleigh/Charlotte Train Service Begins in June.
On June 5 a new train to Charlotte (.pdf) will begin daily service from downtown Raleigh. The third pair of trains between the cities will be focused on mid-day service. It will depart just before Noon while the train from Charlotte will arrive in Raleigh just after 3:30pm. The train trips will usually run just over 3 hours each way.
