Jason’s Deli Replacing Bear Rock at Crossroads

Great news for Crossroads Plaza in Cary! The Crossroads location of Bear Rock Cafe is the latest to close in the faltering chain. Luckily, though, the space will be occupied in the late spring by Jason’s Deli.

    I thought the Bear Rock concept they had on Kildaire in Cary near the Harris Teeter was excellent. I was sorry to see that close. This Bear Rock did not have the new concept.

    I have to say I am not inclined to cheer for a Jason’s Deli. I have found them to be ok, not bad, not good. Very edible.

    But given the nightmare maze of Crossroads, I avoid it normally anyway.

    I thought the Crossroads Bear Rock location has been closed for over a year. Did I miss something?
