I hope that this time Yancey’s will manage to stay open for much longer. Great venue, in my opinion, but probably another location would have worked better – maybe Glenwood South, or the Warehouse District 😉

I feel like having Yancey’s of Farmington here in South East Raleigh would bring attention to a dying community. We have been looking for something else for a long time coming. With the development of Ole Towne being postponed which could have brought some new shops an possible golfing opportunites not to mention the proposed Walmart. Southeast Raleigh is awaiting change and growth.

Jawahar Muniyandi is in for quite a shock. Mr. Yancey is rapidly becoming known as the fraud(gumbo recipe off the back of a Minute Rice box!) and con man that he is. These folks should talk to some of his former business partners. From what I hear, they need to buckle up for a VERY rough ride!

I am truly, truly excited and cannot wait for Yancey’s to open. As a native from Philly, I miss the cool jazz, good people, and good food. Philly always have something going on and something to do.

I am doing a count down for the opening.

“Good Luck Yancey.” See you soon!!!!!
