Gramophone Honors NC Symphony Disc
Gramophone Magazine has named the NC Symphony’s new CD, ” American Spectrum ” to its Editor’s Choice list for the month of June. The CD showcases the orchestra playing selections of American music by composers such as Michael Daugherty, John Williams, Ned Rorem, and Christopher Rouse. Grant Llewellyn conducts the orchestra on the CD which also features N.C. Central’s Artist In Residence, Branford Marsalis and his quartet. Gramophone is the world’s leading and most influential publication for classical music reviews.
