Triangle Restaurant Week Begins May 11
May 11 begins this year’s Triangle Restaurant Week. It’s a region-wide celebration of local culinary talents, exquisite cuisine, and dynamic atmospheres during which one can explore new offerings in neighborhood faves as well as new venues. Participating restaurants are offering fixed priced, three-course meals including an appetizer, an entree, and dessert.
Some details are still not ironed out, but at this point it appears the lunch meals will be $15 and dinner meals will be $25. It also appears that restaurants like Mura, The Oxford, Sono, Vic’s Italian (in City Market), The Mint, Irregardless, Globe, NoFo, Fraziers will be participating (more on that later)
It will be a busy week as “Chocolate::a gift for the gods” will be at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Artsplosure, and Strut ‘09 will be filling the bill.
