Service became available to me about 2-3 weeks ago. First saw the trucks doing work at neighborhood nodes in December but in mid-January to early February I was seeing 3-4 trucks a day all around the area.

I still signed up for it just in case.
Of course I still believe that Windows Media Center will have DirecTV support this fall and I can finally leave the SDV madness behind because I am tired of paying for channels I don’t get.

I ordered Thursday, and had it the following Tuesday. Setup was a breeze, though I did have to use their site’s tech chat thing to get them to send a signal to it to allow all the SDV HD channels to show up.

I got a letter last week, and received my SDV adapter this past Tuesday (3/24). Had it setup in minutes, and unlocked a ton of HD content for our HD TiVo. Granted, cablecard customers with the cards in their TVs themselves are still SOL.
