Jack Boston: 1958-2008
Former WPTF radio host Jack Boston lost is battle with leukemia yesterday. Boston had
just gotten the morning drive time gig
in October of 2006 when he had a relapse of the disease. He was to be only the 4th morning host on the station since 1952.

Very sorry to hear about Jack Boston. I worked in radio during part of his long career in eastern North Carolina (93.3 WDLX Washington) and I always liked his style. His voice will be missed.

My condolences to Jack’s family. I will always remember him for his positive attitude, no matter how hard things were for him. I heard about his death this morning, while listening to the radio and it saddened me… My mother’s sister died of leukemia, at her early 30’s, so I can relate to this. I was hoping that things were going to the right direction for Jack, but evidently I was wrong
God rest his soul!!!
