What is not nice about a new building? It is a building that does not promote loitering of any kind. I’m sure RPD will continue to use it for their paperwork and meet-up point so sketchy activity will be kept to a minimum. I’ll be glad to have a great selection of liquors. The current store lacks a lot of the higher end and newer brands (currently have to go to Cameron Village to get our favorite vodka, Chopin, and it isn’t even rare or too pricey). An expanded selection of liqueurs and mixes will also be nice.

Sure beats the “Xscape” nightclub.

Oh, and the problems you see at Cookout could easily be dealt with my management but they would rather have the extended business. We just need something done about the old Blockbuster, but I have a feeling it just ends up being another Mexican restaurant.
