Guys, think your hair speaks volumes? Ladies, think your man has the look?  BLO, a favorite local salon for hot hairstyles, needs 40 males to serve as models for a photo shoot with Passion Magazine on August 17. Interested males over age 18 can e-mail headshots to info@justblo.com before August 14 to be considered.

Those selected must be available on August 17 for the photo shoot. Each model will have a consultation with a BLO stylist and may receive a complimentary haircut, as needed.

“All hair types and facial features are welcome,” said Bryan Nunes, BLO co-owner. “We’re looking for unique styles and hair texture for this photo shoot.”

Recently, BLO received the salon industry’s highest business honor at the 2008 Global Salon Business Awards® (GSBA) in Hollywood, where it was selected for a GSBA Award from among more than 3,000 nominated salons from around the world. This industry recognition caught the attention of Passion Magazine founder Daniel Funk, who has arranged for the photo shoot to take place in Raleigh at BLO.

Passion publishes numerous hair magazines that feature full-color, advertisement-free pages of hairstyles by the world’s top hair designers. The publisher is exclusively dedicated to cutting-edge, high fashion and contemporary looks, showcasing the latest hair styling trends.

“We’re excited. It’s a terrific opportunity for men that can result in model-quality photography for their portfolios,” said Nunes.

Highlighted by its 2008 Global Salon Business Award this summer, BLO has garnered international accolades across the fashion and style industries.
