Bud Light Live Adds Blind Melon
Blind Melon has been added to the June 28 Bud Light live schedule. The date already featured Carbon Leaf with Colourslide, and Will West & the Sunshine Kids.
Back in 1991, the band got signed and moved to Durham, hearing about the great music scene in the Triangle during that period. It was during that period at 926 W. Trinity and at the “Yellow House” in Chapel Hill that the band put together one of the biggest CD’s of the 90’s, their self-titled debut.
Ever since the untimely death of singer Shannon Hoon in 1995, the band has floundered and disbanded. In the last year, by popular demand, the band has reunited and added a new lead singer, Travis Warren, formerly of Rain Fur Rent. “For My Friends” is the new CD and “Wishing Well” is the first single from the CD.
