The waitress smiled, kept her eyes on my ice tea for refills, followed up quickly, enjoyed her job, and even gave that "southern" pat on the back. Thanks Katie!!

From the sound of things, the biscuts are a better choice than Doc Greens (getting into Cafe Carolina territory), Mama Fu's (especially with the noodle place going into the old Record Bar/Waldenbooks/wine shop), or Shane's Rib Shack.

(Especially if the description of "granola" in this article is true! LOL) Also, other than Cafe Carolina, there's not much breakfast/brunch options in CV anymore...especially since Big Sky Bread shut down a few years ago.

Anyone know what happened that they chose CV instead of NH?

I live here, but I'm from Atlanta. We're happy about this. Trust me. It's a great place with tasty tasty food. Quality ingredients, lots of veg options, and the biscuits themselves are ridiculously good.
