I just saw the Springsteen concert in Greensboro, and it will be a looooong time before I see another concert in that facility again.

The access and seating were perfectly fine, as were the amenities I took advantage of. But the sound quality stunk to high heaven.

Next time you are in the RBC Center, look at the ceiling. Notice the numerous sound baffles that keep the sounds from echoing off the ceiling. Then, look at the Greensboro Coliseum ceiling. What do you see? The metal roof. Not a good situation for a concert.

For the first 2/3rd of the Springsteen concert I thought his sound system stunk. Then I caught a song when I was in position to see the stage, but the roof was blocked by the upper bowl. The sound was 1000% better.

The Greensboro facility was nice, just not suitable for a concert.
